Today I’m sharing a blog post from my corporate blog, What’s APPening®. When you’re in the trenches of creating something new and trying to get a startup off the ground, it is easy to focus on the task at the moment and lose perspective of just how far things have progressed. It was a good practice to go back through emails from a year ago and be reminded of where we were in building on what we started when I founded APPCityLife a little over three years ago. This is the post that I shared with my corporate blog readers – thanks for being a part of my blog community here. Happy New Year to each and every one of you. May you find new opportunities, peace and satisfaction in your journey this year.
If you’re anything like me, your email is still pretty intact all the way back to January, 2012. And after spending the better part of my afternoon cleaning out emails, I’ve taken an interesting walk down memory lane to where my company was one year ago. Not only has it been heartening to see just how far we’ve grown, it’s quite exciting to think about what the new year will bring. Above and beyond all the emails in my inbox, the ones I am most grateful for are those from clients, friends, and members of the community. Without the enthusiastic support and faith in us, we couldn’t have not only survived but grown in 2012. Here’s wishing all of you a prosperous new year and clean inbox!
